Dr. Indrani Pal, honored with NSF-I-Corps award, Fall 2021.
Dr. Indrani Pal, Research Scientist at the CUNY Remote Sensing Earth System Institute, is the one of recipient of Horn Entrepreneurship Award or NSF-ICorps site award, administered by University of Delaware. This program empowers aspiring innovators as they pursue new ideas for a better world by providing specialized training and mini grants ($3k) to help awardees bridge the gap between academic research and product commercialization.
Dr. Pal not only completed the training but also received highest recommendation to carry-on with her idea and national NSF-I-Corps TEAMS program (50k) that will help her develop the prototype of the solution that she aspires on developing in the areas of water risk management. She is endlessly searching for a trailblazer who can mentor her through this endeavor and national-level program.
