Dr. Naresh Devineni, invited to speak at the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue Workshop


On Tuesday, February 7th, 2022, Dr. Naresh Devineni was invited as a speaker to the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue workshop, which is part of a White House priority. The Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, also known as the Quad, is a strategic security dialogue between Australia, India, Japan, and the United States through talks between member countries and is organized through the Office of the Vice President. The Quad is dedicated to advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific vision through practical cooperation on diverse 21st-century challenges through six leader-level working groups- on COVID-19 Response and Global Health Security, Climate, Critical and Emerging Technologies, Cyber, Space, and Infrastructure.

Dr. Devineni was invited to speak in the session that focused on flood trends, inundation, coast erosion, and water quality titled, The Quad Space Working Group Technical Workshops on Extreme Precipitation Events. The workshops identify areas of mutual interest and common gaps concerning extreme precipitation.
