CUNY CREST institute has established many formal and informal partnerships with universities within CUNY system and outside CUNY system. The partnership has also been extended to other City, state, and national organizations outside CUNY systems. These partnerships are needed to broaden CREST Institute’s research capabilities and also adapt to the emerging challenges of research. These types of partnerships would give us the access to a wealth of talented researchers with specialized skill sets to complement our existing unique capabilities at CREST. In addition to partnerships, we also believe that a wide range of stakeholders should be included in the Institute use-inspired research and in the problem formulation phase of research aimed at solving environmental problems.
