CREST scientists, research faculty, and affiliated faculty are participating in a variety of interdisciplinary departments, and they usually act as mentors to the students in those departments. While CREST Institute does not directly offer undergraduate and degrees, they are either a faculty on those programs or are affiliated with those departments and programs. Typically, students interested in studies related to Earth System Science and engineering field with emphasis on application of remote sensing technologies are enrolled through one of those programs thru their corresponding departments depending on faculty and student interests.
