John Jay’s coalition for climate justice seeks to ensure that youth voices, especially from impacted communities, are front and center as the world addresses the climate crisis. To this end, they are launching a process of preparing John Jay students for participation in the 2024 Conference of Youth (COY) and Conference of Parties (COP) international climate discussion at the United Nations.
On Monday, December 4, 2023 from 1:40 to 4:30 pm they will hold an introductory meeting and planning workshop. Join them to learn more about climate change and international legal processes, and help shape the future!
