Paniz is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Earth System Science & Environmental Engineering at the City College of New York and is a research scholar on the Reaching a New Energy Sciences Workforce (RENEW) project under CREST Faculty affiliate and Professor of Civil Engineering at CCNY, Dr. Naresh Devineni. Her research focuses on flash flood prediction with CUNY-CREST and Department of Energy (DOE), where she integrates computational methods, data science, and environmental science to create solutions to reduce climate-related risks and contribute to a sustainable future.
