CREST Faculty Affiliate, Dr. Linda Y. Tseng, Assistant Professor at the City University of New York, will deliver the talk on Using Radiocarbon Analysis to Understand Fossil Carbon in Water Recovery Processes: Implications of Fossil Carbon for IPCC Greenhouse Gas Methodologies. She will discuss how radiocarbon analysis has revealed fossil carbon in wastewater systems and how this finding is reshaping greenhouse gas accounting frameworks, including updates to IPCC guidelines.
