Goals:
- Foster entrepreneurship in remote sensing and earth system science to translate research into real-world impact through scalable ventures
- Innovate through development of new tools, technologies and solutions that enhance environmental monitoring, climate resilience and sustainable development
Objectives:
- Develop and implement educational programming for students and faculty on entrepreneurship, innovation and technology commercialization.
- Collaborate with CUNY and external resources to bring in workshops, seminars, and networking events to support programming
- Develop and sustain industry mentorship opportunities
- Support proposal development for grants
- Collaborate with Research Pillar to identify, nurture, and advance commercialization opportunities emerging from CUNY CREST Research
