CREST hosted the Earth System and Environmental Engineering (ESE) Program Mixer on November 2, 2023 at the Grove School of Engineering, City College of New York. Current and prospective ESE students, faculty, and management attended the mixer.
The mixer opened with welcome remarks from the Director of the ESE Program at CCNY, Dr. Reza Khanbilvardi followed by presentations from ESE affiliates and faculty. Attendees gained the opportunity to ask the presenters questions about the program and course & curriculum. They also learnt about the research and other opportunities available to them through the ESE program.
Several ESE club representatives presented the activities they undertake in their respective clubs and invited students to join. Further ESE students and alumni shared their scholarship and summer experiences and helped the students in the audience gain useful insights. The mixer also invited participants to enter into a raffle to get useful academic items.
